Founded in 1970, Karl Stimpson Builders, Inc. is located in Pfafftown, NC. Not only have we been serving the Triad area for 37 years, we are a 5th generation construction family, with combined experience and craftsmanship more than a century old! We have truly been a valuable key to the growth of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County and strive to maintain our track record, while consistently focusing on quality and exceeding client expectations along the way.
HISTORY
Karl Stimpson founded our company, primarily building moderate to high-end custom homes. He has established a fine reputation for high quality, integrity and beautiful homes. Through the years, we have evolved into a full service construction company, building both commercial and residential projects with the addition of Karl’s son, Aubrey Stimpson. Aubrey worked in the company as he attended school and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management in 1991. Aubrey has devoted the majority of his time to building numerous complex commercial projects and developments. We continue to build fine custom homes and even cater to the children of clients we built for years ago. Karl retired from the company in 2005, leaving Aubrey as President to carry on the family tradition of quality and excellence.

Karl Stimpson Builders, Inc. is capable of bidding, bonding and performing most any type of commercial construction as solicited by the owner or architect. We compete for many of our jobs on a daily basis and have an incredible list of subcontractors and vendors that we continually do business with. We strive to work with the best, provide the best and deliver the best price, on time. Karl Stimpson Builders, Inc. can operate as a team member in a design-build method, involving the architect and owner. We can lead a team as the general contractor and construction manager, or work under the direction of the architect. Either way, our main objective is to provide you, the owner with the best building or home, cost effectively and on time. When selected as your contractor, especially with a team approach, your expectations will be far surpassed.
